Empowering Atlanta residents to lead on climate action and sustainability
What is ASAP?
The Atlanta Sustainability Ambassadors Program (ASAP) is:
- A hands-on educational initiative designed to inspire citizens to learn, engage, and lead on climate action and sustainability through the lens of social justice.
- Each cohort is a diverse mix of ages, ethnicities, industries, and experiences that bring authentic engagement to each session.
- This certificate program requires completing 5 sessions + Capstone.
Who can join?
Sponsored by the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Sustainability & Resilience, ASAP is open to metro Atlanta residents and City of Atlanta staff.
When is it offered?
Two sessions are offered per year (spring and fall).
Each immersive session requires completing a minimum of 5 classes + Capstone Project to receive a certificate.
Why join?
Sustainability must be inclusive and community-driven.
The Atlanta Sustainability Ambassador Program empowers residents to build better communities through education, engagement, and advocacy.
